On Monday 20th December we're lucky enough to have Graham Hendra of ABC Heat Pumps lined up to speak about Heat Pumps. I've been to a talk that Graham did for renewable heating professionals and so I can personally vouch for him.
Heat is probably the biggest single contribution to climate change of our households here - so reducing our heat consumption and then switching to low carbon heating should be near the top of our lists - for those of us who can afford it at least. Our family business involves domestic wood pellet boilers - so I will line us up for a talk too on biomass - but biomass is somewhat of a niche case - when it comes to heating and transport the future is very much electric - and that means heat pumps.
And there's a frustrating amount of misinformation around about heat pumps. Graham is here to wipe that away.
Over the last 15 years Graham has designed over 10,000 heat pump systems, trained 1,500 installers and engineers and has attended hundreds of sites with problem systems. He really knows his stuff.
