If there's someone you'd call "The Hedgehog person" in the UK, it's Hugh Warwick, and we're lucky enough to have him join us to help answer the seemingly simple question:

"What can we do in our gardens, our land, and our interactions with councils and other bodies, to help hedgehogs?"

Hugh will speak for 15-20 mins followed by 15-20 mins Q&A.

Hugh is the spokesperson for the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and the author of fine books about hedgehogs.

I highly recommend both "A Prickly Affair" and "The Hedgehog Book". Some of you may have them already? Not only are they informative and practical, they are also well written and entertaining.

I am suggesting to those who are able to please consider making a donation to the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, but this meeting remains free for all to attend. Hugh's fine books are also available

We will "open the doors" at 6:45, start by welcoming everyone, have a quickfire round of updates from our groups, and then jump straight in to the main event.

So - save the date: Wednesday, 10th Feb, 6:45 pm.
